Tigers race effecting scandal?
This article was written by Jesse Washington from Fox News entitled Tigers troubles widen his distance from blacks and talking about the incident of Tiger woods being accused of cheating on his beautiful blond wife. Int this article it talks alot about Tigers race and being black and how if he would've married a black woman and cheated with some white woman that she would hunt him down and castrated him. I think this is article is very stereotypical towards black woman saying that all of them would act out in anger and violence. I think that his race didn:t have anything to do with it and even if he was white it would still be the same thing as being black.

Traffic Signals
Can updating traffic signals increase the mpg you get in your car? BWM is saying yes. With coming to a stop each time at a red light and then starting again uses alot of gas which is why BMW has been pushing officials to update traffic signals so they are more friendly and traffic is moved better. With this car companies have been finding solutions as well by finding a way for your vehicle to not comsume so much gas while not moving. BMW has done this with there BWM 530d test vehicle with a a fual efficiency of usually 22 mpg to 42 mpg. With this simple change it could reduce the amount of fuel used each year and I think would help everything and everyone out as well.

Kids on Social Networks
These past few years social networks for teenagers have been big and highly adevertised by the media and those whom you may associate with. As older kids get into this their younger siblings or peers may see them using this and think "hey this is cool I want one." and in a cnn article the disgust this very good. They gave several examples of children having social network accounts and what their parents thought of it. I personally think it alright for young kids to have them as long as their parents monitor what they are doing on them and to make sure they dont spend too much time on it and make it an addiction. My younger brother who is twelve has a facebook and my mom made it with so he could feel like he is in the loop and he doesn't ever really get on it so i guess it all depends on what the situation is.

Fake Anti Virus Software Robs millions
As viruses attack millions of computers a day, there is software that can protect you from this obviously named anti virus protection. However, there are fake anti virus services that charge you about a hundred dollars for the download but they just take the money and give you nothing. This has been a problem for sometime now. With each scammer earning about a million dollars a year. The FBI has been trying to fix this problem by warning the public of this danger, since they cant seem to catch these theives. I think this is an important issue that the media puts out as a warning to all people on the web.

Radar App for iphone
With so many new apps for iphones this one may actually help you out while driving. This radar app lets you know where there are speed traps and red light cameras. Fox news said about this that some may think it is a distraction but people that use it proved that it helps you keep your eyes on the road and also saves you money in by not having to pay for those expensive traffic tickets. The radar alerts you and actually tells you where it is so you dont even have to look at it to know. I think this was a great idea cause it saves you money from those tickets and helps you be more alert on the road and aware of things. However if you get so into it and it is a distraction then i think it would not be a good thing to use but i guess it all depends on who you are.

No Twitter in NBA
In the NBA twitter has been a big thing as of latley with players getting on it and other social networks when out of the game on a time out. On September 30, 2009 this past week the NBA prohited twitter and other social networks during a game, half time, and 45 minutes after the game when the players responsibilities are taken care of. This also pertains to coaches and any other participating basketball personell. I think this was a good change for the NBA because it keeps the players more focused on what is going on and lets the players do what they are getting paid to do and do those other things on their free time.

Alcohol advertisement
In the U.K. they have been having problems with young people consuming alcohol so young. U.K. has one of the highest places for death involving alcohol. The media and advertising alcohoic beverages has been discussed and there might be a change where they cant advertise anymore because of this problem they are having. This influence from the media has had a change for the worse encouraging youg people to participate in this activity. If they made this change in the U.K. i dont think it would really help with the young people that struggle with it now but down the road i can see this having a huge impact on the youger people not being introduced to it so young.
